European Cabinet Installation Requires European Expertise

A $100,000 kitchen with a $500 installation job is a $500 kitchen. European frameless cabinet systems are engineered to tolerances measured in millimeters, and they demand installers who understand those systems inside and out. Our factory-certified installation team has the training, the tools, and the track record to ensure your LEICHT or Pedini kitchen performs exactly as designed.

Why Certified Installation Matters

European cabinet systems are fundamentally different from domestic cabinetry. They use frameless construction, precision hardware, integrated electrical and lighting systems, and modular components that must align perfectly. Here’s what’s at stake

Alignment precision

European cabinets require leveling and alignment to sub-millimeter tolerances. Visible gaps, uneven lines, and doors that don’t close properly are the result of installers unfamiliar with these standards.

Hardware calibration

Soft-close mechanisms, handleless opening systems, and drawer runners all require specific adjustment procedures. Incorrectly calibrated hardware leads to premature wear and poor performance.

Integrated systems

Modern European kitchens include integrated lighting, electrical outlets, and technology connections built into the cabinet systems. Proper installation requires coordination across multiple trades.

Warranty protection

LEICHT and Pedini warranties require certified installation. Using an uncertified installer can void your product warranty entirely.

Our Installation Team

We don’t outsource installation. Our team includes:

Kevin, Lead Installer

Swiss-born with a 4-year European cabinetmaking apprenticeship. Kevin’s experience spans production, installation, and CNC operation across Switzerland, the United States, and New Zealand. He understands these systems from the factory floor to the finished kitchen.

Roman, Installer

Over 10 years of European and custom cabinetry installation experience, plus a 4-year technical degree in Electrical-HVAC. His cross-trade expertise is critical for the integrated systems in modern European kitchens.
Both installers are factory-certified on LEICHT and Pedini systems and work under the direct supervision of our founder Markus Zaugg, who trained as a cabinetmaker in Switzerland.

What to Expect During Installation

Pre-installation site preparation
Our general contracting team completes all structural, electrical, and plumbing work before cabinet installation begins. The space is clean, level, and ready.
Cabinet delivery and staging
European cabinets arrive flat-packed from Germany or Italy. We inspect every component before staging for installation.
Precision installation
Cabinets are assembled, leveled, aligned, and secured using factory-specified techniques and hardware. Countertop templates are taken after cabinet installation for perfect fit.
Hardware calibration
Every drawer, door, hinge, and mechanism is individually adjusted and tested.
Appliance integration
Panel-ready appliances are fitted, aligned, and tested in coordination with cabinet systems.
Final walkthrough
We walk through everything together, demonstrating features, providing care instructions, and making any final adjustments.
