LEICHT is Germany's leading luxury kitchen brand — 95+ years of precision engineering and minimalist design from Waldstetten, Germany. Studio Europa has been San Diego's exclusive authorized dealer since 2011, and our Little Italy showroom is one of the top-performing LEICHT locations in the United States.
See it, touch it, and work with designers who know the system inside and out.
Founded in 1928 in Waldstetten, Germany, LEICHT has spent nearly a century perfecting kitchen engineering. Their design philosophy — form follows function, perfected — shows up in every detail. CNC manufacturing achieves tolerances within 0.1mm, which is why LEICHT drawers glide, doors align, and finishes meet at every corner the way they do.
LEICHT holds Blue Angel and PEFC sustainability certifications, uses water-based finishes, and sources materials responsibly. German engineering and environmental responsibility, built into the same product.
LEICHT's system has two layers: cabinet lines (which determine how the cabinet opens) and front programs (which determine how it looks and feels). You choose a line, then pair it with any of LEICHT's 36+ front programs — giving you enormous design flexibility within a precision-engineered framework.
Laminates — Scratch-resistant melamine in solid colors and wood textures. German laser-edge technology for flawless edges. Group 2 adds lacquer hybrid coating. Group 3 introduces FENIX anti-fingerprint, self-healing surfaces. Exceptional quality at LEICHT's most accessible price point.
Lacquers — Multi-step lacquer finishing produces glass-smooth surfaces in matte or high-gloss. 10–12 core colors plus 5,000+ custom colors, including the exclusive Le Corbusier palette.
Premium & Specialty — Natural wood veneers (oak, ash, walnut, elm), all-glass kitchens, hand-applied concrete, ceramic (Kera), natural stone (Rocca), metallic patina, and signature programs like Bossa and Kyoto. Each front in these groups has unique material characteristics that set it apart.
LEICHT's Kyoto planning concept merges Japanese craftsmanship with Scandinavian minimalism — the design world calls it Japandi. Kyoto creates a spatial lattice structure through a sophisticated arrangement of side panels, shelves, and horizontal solid wood handles, forming a grid that gives the kitchen architectural presence while maintaining warmth and calm.
The effect is distinctive: horizontal front joints disappear behind the overlaying grid structure, so there's no visual duplication. Real wood veneers in alpine natural oak bring organic warmth, while the precise grid provides modern structure. Kyoto extends naturally beyond the kitchen into living spaces, creating cohesive, natural-feeling environments where the cabinetry and architecture blend seamlessly.
Kyoto pairs beautifully with complementary programs like Pearl (a softly shimmering, silky mother-of-pearl effect for handleless fronts) and dark stone worktops for contrast.
Best for: Clients drawn to warm minimalism, natural materials, and designs that feel both serene and architecturally intentional.
LEICHT's award-winning Bossa program is a real wood front with protruding linear ridges in a 12.5mm grid, giving the veneer a three-dimensional, sculptural quality unlike anything else on the market. Available in walnut and alpine oak, Bossa is built on a massive core with multiple layers of genuine wood veneer, sealed with water-based lacquer.
What makes Bossa extraordinary is its scale. The program can clad entire kitchen runs, wall panels, and adjacent living spaces in a continuous, homogeneous wood surface — fronts, side panels, and architectural wall cladding all in the same dimensional wood texture. Storage solutions, appliances, and equipment disappear behind Bossa's expressive surface, creating a unified architectural statement.
Bossa pairs particularly well with LEICHT's Kera ceramic worktops and fronts for a striking contrast between warm wood and cool porcelain, and with the new carbon grey carcase interior for a dark, cohesive look throughout.
Best for: Clients who want a bold, textural kitchen that makes an architectural statement — where the cabinetry becomes the room's defining design element.
Studio Europa is the ONLY authorized LEICHT dealer in San Diego County. This means factory-direct products with full manufacturer warranty and installation by factory-certified technicians trained specifically on LEICHT systems.
If you encounter companies offering "LEICHT-style" cabinets or claiming to source LEICHT outside authorized channels — they cannot provide genuine warranty, certified installation, or authentic products. If you're investing in LEICHT, work with an authorized dealer.
